The Creekside Cabin is a 2,200 sq ft vacation cabin that is located only 14 miles north of Woodland Park by Pike National forest in Colorado. The cozy cottage is situated within 60 year old pine and cottonwood trees surrounded by large rock formations. You are truly within a bubble of serene nature with various animals and birds paying a visit to the property. Additionally, this vacation rental is adjacent to an old gold mining town with an abundance of history!
The home was originally built in 1952 by the owner’s grandfather, and has even been renovated many times since. Due to its pristine condition today, it is hard to even tell that the Creekside Cabin has been a survivor of the Hayman fire of 2002 along with two floods. However, many original structures constructed by the grandfather did make it through the catastrophes and can be noticed today such as the various rock walls encircling the property and the rock-fort clubhouse that is just up the hill. Finally, the rock fire pit near the clubhouse is still an original structure that stands.
Inside the cabin, you can find a total of three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, thus, it can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. One of the bedroom’s, called ‘Grandpa and Grandma’s Bedroom’ contains a queen bed, full bathroom, fireplace, and a loveseat. The Aspen Room has one queen bed along with a dresser and bedside table. The Bunk Room has two twin beds.Further, there is a fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the living room space. Finally, there is a patio space off the back of the lodge so you can enjoy the view with a morning cup of coffee.
The Creekside Cabin in Woodland Park truly has so much to offer, one of the features being the six-person hot tub that looks out onto the backyard patio and even has a mini-fridge with towels and robes right near.

What an awesome little place! Exactly as advertised and impeccably clean. While the location might be a little far from some attractions we managed to find a couple close hikes (Cheesman Canyon and Sheep Nose) and thoroughly enjoyed the on-site amenities. Lots of history in this house to review and learn about. Beautiful sunrises with our coffee. Mule deer were consistent visitors morning and evening. The horses loved the carrots, but passed on the celery! Many thanks for opening your house to my family and two dogs! John W.
The property has a lot to offer. The owners are incredibly kind and quick to respond. They made our stay as easy and wonderful as possible. Our daughters loved playing in the creek and the fort area. Austina M.
Everything was perfect. We loved the mountain view right outside the picture window. Hot tub was hot and private. Lots to explore on the property and places to see within an hour so great location too. Thanks to the owners for an amazing vacation. Evelyn K.
Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin! The stream is relaxing and we enjoyed the fort, hot tub, and fire pit. We were able to visit several sites in the area and come back to a well-stocked cabin in the mountains. The owner was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had. kevin m.
